theARTScentered is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization working to provide resources, materials, tools, professional expertise, and collaboration opportunities to arts and community events and organizations here in the Vancouver/Portland area. We are connectors and master creative problem solvers and we love to pitch in !!
About This Cause
With over 35 years working in the non profit performing arts, Christine founded theARTScentered to bring her high level of experience and passion, to bear for all cultures, groups and communities to have access to the space and support they need to practice, perform and pass on their cultural traditions in the Vancouver, WA area. She is a master creative problem solver, a highly effective communicator, a respected artist, a proven leader, and a visionary. She believes the performing arts are the heartbeat of a community, bringing people together, infusing life with creativity, and creating a shared cultural identity. The arts have a magical ability to stir emotions and ignite a sense of connection. They provide a platform for self-expression, reflecting the community's unique voice and stories, and fosters a sense of pride and unity, making the community more vibrant and dynamic. The performing arts are the glue that binds communities and adds color to the tapestry of everyday life.
