About This Cause
In rural India, the reality is stark: only 4% of its schools have access to functional computers. This digital divide severely limits their access to valuable online resources, leaving schools reliant on outdated and tattered textbooks for learning. At Code Hope Global, we are committed to changing this narrative. We establish fully-equipped computer labs in underprivileged rural schools, complete with desktop computers and projectors, facilitating a pathway to quality education and digital literacy. Our efforts go beyond hardware - we provide comprehensive training to educators, enabling them to maximize the benefits of these resources. Our volunteers go the extra mile by developing online courses that break the urban-rural language barrier and teach students how to harness the potential of these desktops for education. Furthermore, they impart foundational coding knowledge, empowering students with crucial digital skills.
