To honor the legacy of our lost hero by investing in the mental well-being of our military and nurturing future leaders. Through education, advocacy and direct support we strive to prevent military suicide.
About This Cause
The Sgt. Anthony Patrick Muhlstadt Foundation is dedicated to suicide awareness and prevention within the military community. Established in honor of Sgt. Muhlstadt, who died by suicide while serving in the Marine Corps, the foundation provides direct support to service members, including care packages for those deployed and stateside who may need a little extra love. It funds ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) workshops, hosts virtual workshops to empower active duty and veterans, and promotes a culture of resilience. The foundation also provides meals to active duty service members in need of extra attention and offers annual grants for a military adventure camp and a scholarship for a local high school JROTC senior. Through these efforts, the foundation honors Sgt. Muhlstadt’s legacy by supporting and strengthening those who serve.
