About This Cause
Our organization's mission is to provide early intervention awareness and training for parents and families of children with eating disorders. Our primary demographic is families who are often uneducated and do not have access to such tools. Our focus will be families in Egypt, where there is an overwhelming shortage of clinical treatment. Using the skills of the “Family Based Treatment” method, parents and families, working along with experienced therapists and medical providers, can help minimize and/or eliminate the need for clinical or inpatient treatment.
