Mission Statement
Our missions is to support and help raise funding for the Stony Point High School Solar Car Team.
About This Cause
We are a parent led organization that is dedicated to helping our children pursue the practical application of Engineering, Design, Programming and Marketing to build and race a solar powered vehicle. Stony Point Solar Car Team is aligned under the Solar Car Foundation and plans to race their vehicle each Summer - either at Texas Motor Speedway or a designated road race run by the SCF. Due to funding and purchasing restrictions, we do a lot of fundraising and purchasing of parts and supplies for the vehicle and race participants.
