About This Cause

Theory of Change If we provide a network of cross-sector organizations to eliminate poverty by supporting under resourced families with young children with pathways to reach their full potential, then we provide families with equitable access to build generational legacies and create thriving communities. We do this by: Developing strategic partnerships with other organizations. Implementing pathway plans that focus on goal attainment across multiple domains such as wellness, financial literacy, mental health, and education. Fostering a value system of giving back and nurturing a supportive community mindset to dismantle systemic barriers and empower those uplifted to reach back and support others. Why This Matters Poverty among BIPOC and under-resourced communities in North Tulsa is perpetuated by systemic barriers that prevent equitable access to resources, education, and economic opportunities. Families with young children face numerous challenges, including limited access to quality education, healthcare, and mental health services. These challenges contribute to a cycle of poverty that impacts not only the current generation but also future generations. What We Do Providing Pathways to Generational Change Our organization creates pathway plans in partnership with network organizations to provide families with the resources they need to break the cycle of poverty. Strategic Initiatives and Priorities: Establish Partnerships Engage with and formalize agreements (MOUs) with other organizations that align with our mission and commitment to provide complete and equitable care. Focus on expanding the network to include diverse stakeholders who can contribute to each program pillar. Pathway Plans Develop individualized pathway plans for each family that align with their specific needs in wellness, financial stability, and education. Regularly review and update these plans to ensure they are effective and responsive to changes in the community. Our supports adapt to the evolving family needs, vision and goals to support their growth trajectory throughout their life journey. Capacity Building Train staff and volunteers in trauma-informed care, cultural competency, and holistic health practices. Build the capacity of partner organizations through collaborative training sessions and shared resources through a community centered commitment and culture that grounds our work and partnership. Monitoring and Evaluation Implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework to track the progress of each initiative. Use data to refine programs, demonstrate impact, and attract additional funding.
