Mission Statement
The mission of NOLA Holi Festival Inc shall be: A. to provide a forum for people of Indian origin and Indophiles to perform activities that help preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of India. B. to enhance intercultural understanding and eliminate prejudice and discrimination by educating the public of Louisiana about the culture, food, music, religions, and traditions of India.
About This Cause
NOLA Holi Festival Inc furthers its mission by organizing the following charitable, cultural, and educational activities as described in Section 501(c)(3) of Internal Revenue Code: A. Sponsor, organize, and promote an annual festival in New Orleans celebrating Holi, the Indian festival of colors. B. Coordinate and collaborate with other organizations celebrating Indian festivals in Louisiana and elsewhere.
