Ohlhoff Recovery Programs mission is to promote healthy, joyful living—free from substance abuse—by providing the highest quality residential and outpatient treatment for alcohol and drug dependence to adults, adolescents, and their families.
About This Cause
Ranked in the Top 20 in Newsweek’s list of Best Addiction Treatment Centers in California for 2021, Ohlhoff Recovery Programs has a 60-year history of providing sober living accommodation in a beautiful Victorian mansion in the Alamo Square District of San Francisco built in 1861. We fulfill our mission by making our recovery programs affordable and designed to promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being providing the tools to live independently and free from the effects of substance abuse. Treatment is provided without regard to race, creed, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, nationality, or relapse history including an individualized and integrated Women's Program which is sensitive to the female experience and provided in a comfortable environment. Our programs offer a continuum of care for our clients, based on their individual needs: 30-Day Inpatient Program: The Inpatient program is located within the historic Henry Ohlhoff House campus in San Francisco and provides up to 30 days of treatment. Designed to provide stabilization to clients in the early stages of recovery, the program operates around the clock where clients live on campus for the duration of their treatment. Men’s/ Women’s Residential Program: The long-term Inpatient Program is a 3–6- month program for adults with moderate to severe alcohol or drug dependency. Our Women’s Program offers long-term, social model-based treatment to adult women struggling with substance use disorders. Intensive/ Outpatient Program: Ohlhoff’s Outpatient Program offers multiple levels of care for adults, adolescents and their families. Our highly-structured intensive outpatient and outpatient programs, include a Teen Intervene program providing options that allow clients to engage in treatment without interruption to work or school.
