Mission Statement
The mission of Iyengar Yoga Association of Northern California is to study, teach, disseminate and promote the art, science and philosophy of Yoga according to the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar. We aim to foster a flourishing diverse and inclusive yoga community throughout the northern California region from as far north as Chico to as far south as Fresno, including our Hawaiian community.
About This Cause
IYANC strives to be an internationally recognized center of excellence in yoga education by providing a clear, progressive path to support the practice of all students regardless of ability, needs or background. We aspire to be the essential resource for all teachers, students and practitioners of yoga who are serious about the path of physical, mental, moral and spiritual transformation. Our large community of certified teachers offer classes and workshops for all - from those new to yoga to those wanting to deepen their practice to those called to teach. We are a non-profit organization serving the entire northern California region and Hawaii.
