About This Cause
Trace Elementary School, a dedicated Performing Arts School, is a public school in the San Jose Unified School District. The school is a community of students, parents, and teachers dedicated to fostering creativity, academic success, and respect. We believe that having parents work in the classroom and in other capacities for the school fosters individualized instruction and allows our students to learn more effectively. The Parent Teacher Organization is the school’s major fundraising organization. We fill in the gaps that the school’s budget can’t meet and support community efforts for a richer school experience. Goals: We raise funds throughout the year to support and fund four main areas: • educational programs, • performing arts programs, • teacher/staff support an • general Trace community events.
