About This Cause
Headquartered in Phoenix, Banner Health is one of the largest nonprofit health care systems in the country. The system owns and operates 28 acute-care hospitals, the Banner Health Network, Banner – University Medicine, and Banner Medical Group, long-term care centers, outpatient surgery centers and other services, including family clinics, home care and hospice, pharmacies and a nursing registry. Banner Health is in seven states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada and Wyoming. Annually, Banner treats 800,000 patients and serves 45% of inpatients in Maricopa County, the nation’s fourth largest county. Banner hospitals consistently rank in the top of U.S. News and World Report’s Best Hospitals, Metro Phoenix. Banner was named one of the top 5 large health systems by Truven Analytics, a leading provider of health care information. For our patients, this means better long-term outcomes, higher patient satisfaction and fewer complications. Banner is also a national leader in patient safety and innovation, achieving the highest use of electronic medical records and providing technology to monitor patients. Banner is deeply committed to its nonprofit mission of making a difference in people's lives through excellent patient care. Since its inception, Banner has ensured our community’s access to high quality health care, regardless of a patient's background or financial standing. In 2014, Banner provided $84 million in charity care and $535 million in community benefits and unpaid Medicare costs. For over 16 years, Banner Health has been dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients. As one of Arizona’s leading health care systems, we rely on the generous support of individuals, business leaders and corporations to make a difference in people’s lives through excellent patient care. Businesses of any size can demonstrate support of children, families, customers, clients and employees through a corporate engagement program to benefit Banner Health. We welcome the opportunity to design a program to meet your philanthropic and marketing objectives.
