About This Cause
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manteca and Lathrop have been serving the Manteca community since 1982. We currently have two sites; Manteca and Lathrop. Our organization serves over 1,800 members and has another 700 visitors or guests that visit our club every year. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manteca and Lathrop is proud of the service we provide to the youth we serve. Over 75 percent of the kids that are members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manteca and Lathrop come from low or very low income families. Many are from single parent and grandparent run households or are foster youth. Providing successful educational programming is a high priority. Our goal is to keep kids in school, graduate from high school and to encourage them to pursue a higher education.
