CRLAF's mission is to achieve social justice and equity in partnership with farmworkers and the underserved in rural communities through legislative, legal, and community advocacy. Our goal is to help rural communities to improve their economic, social, and political conditions.
About This Cause
Immigrant Justice. Human Rights for Low-wage Workers. –– These are the reasons why California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation (CRLAF) exists. We work in partnership with farm workers and the underserved in rural communities throughout California to achieve social justice and equity through legislative, legal, and community advocacy. Our goal is to help rural communities to improve their economic, social, and political conditions. CRLAF is the only legal aid organization serving rural communities that offers free legal counsel, advice and representation to low-wage workers and their families, regardless of immigration status. Rural California is home the most underserved and isolated of California’s immigrants. Mothers and fathers come to work in the fields to give their children an opportunity for a better life.
