Mission Statement
LGEF partners with Los Gatos Union School District, parents, local businesses, and the community-at-large to provide a world-class educational program that produces well-rounded children with a life-long love of learning.
About This Cause
LGEF was founded in 1982 in response to a state budget crisis which threatened sudden cuts in teaching staff. Since it's founding in 1982, LGEF has contributed over $10 million to Los Gatos schools. Today Los Gatos Education Foundation (LGEF) is a volunteer-run, 501c3 non-profit organization that raises private funds through our annual giving campaigns to support the students of Los Gatos Union School District. To this end, LGEF provides grants to support the education of all students at Blossom Hill, Daves Avenue, Lexington and Louise Van Meter Elementary Schools and RJ Fisher Middle School.
