Mission Statement
The MIYFS Foundation supports and enhances the services and programs of Youth & Family Services through events, fundraising and community connections. MIYFS provides, coordinates and advocates for affordable, high quality human services for all. We help all Islanders thrive… through programs and services that meet needs for the entire family.
About This Cause
MIYFS provides individual, family and community services and collaborates with others to develop and deliver comprehensive human services to the Mercer Island community. Programs and services are supported by a public/private partnership between the MIYFS Foundation and the City of Mercer Island, the Mercer Island School District, King County, private contributions and grants, fundraising and special events and revenues generated by our volunteer-based Mercer Island Thrift Shop.
