Mission Statement
Our mission is to enrich the lives of our students and families at Cadwallader Elementary school through fun, engaging, impactful programs and cultural events.
About This Cause
Cadwallader Elementary School PTA serves a small mixed income school in San Jose, CA. As a school that is borderline Title 1, there are years (such as this year) where we are unable to meet the Title 1 qualifications and thereby miss the opportunity to receive the necessary funding we need to adequately provide our students with all the enrichment programs that we would like. This year, the funding for our school to provide a site wide dance program for our students falls solely on the shoulders of us, the PTA. We hope that we can help provide the funds necessary to help bring the joy of dance and movement to our students as well as help fund additional programs to further enrich the lives of our students. Our funding goal for the 2024-2025 school year is $15,000 with $8,000 of that to directly fund the site-wide dance program for our students. In addition to dance, we would like to bring the joy of Performing Arts as well as STEM related programs such as scratch coding for our primary students and python for our intermediate students.
