Mission Statement

The Olympic Club Foundation supports and encourages participation by San Francisco Bay Area youth in amateur athletics. Our mission is to financially support programs which share our belief that participation in organized athletics enriches young lives and develops future community leaders

About This Cause

Since 1992, The Olympic Club Foundation has been funding non-profit organizations that provide organized athletics to under-served children and teens from the 9 San Francisco Bay Area counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma). It is our core belief that sports teaches young people life lessons and leadership skills such as accountability, cooperation, persistence, determination and trust. Baseball, basketball, volleyball, football, boxing, swimming, soccer, rugby, golf, tennis.... if it happens on a court or a field, in a pool or in a ring, our goal is to see all kids given a chance to participate in a sport at any level. It is our core belief that participation in organized athletics enriches young lives and develops future community leaders. While The Olympic Club Foundation (OCF) was originally founded by The Olympic Club, OCF is a completely independent 501(c)3 public charity supported entirely by voluntary contributions of both OC members and non-members.
