Mission Statement
The Friends of the San Carlos Adult Community Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization developed to provide financial support to address identified needs of senior citizens through grants and donations for programs, services and facility improvements of the San Carlos Adult Community Center. The Adult Community Center offers a full continuum of successful programs and services. Founded in 1992, The Friends of the San Carlos Adult Community Center has exclusively and continuously provided financial support to the ACC programs and services that enrich the lives of our seniors.
About This Cause
The Friends provide financial opportunities toward recreation, social relationships and resources designed to promote a better quality of life, health and wellness and enhance independence. The Friends want to provide a sense of place and strengthen the Senior community through classes, programs and social activities. Some examples include fitness class assistance, dances, monthly day trips, casino trips, ice cream socials and Active Aging pilot program.
