Vision & Mission of Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church Foundation: The Foundation strives to be a permanent, reliable source of significant funding for LOPC's ministries. Mission of the LOPC Foundation- To grant funds to LOPC to help: Support Vibrant, Ongoing and New Ministries. Expand Mission Outreach. Maintain LOPC Facilities. To encourage and assist LOPC members and friends to contribute to the Foundation through immediate and planned gifts. To preserve Foundation capital and promote its long-term growth through prudent investment.
About This Cause
LOPC Foundation Purpose LOPC Foundation is a tax-exempt corporation, formed in 1993, to provide financial support for LOPC ministries, with a special interest in vibrant, ongoing and new ministries, expansion of mission outreach, and maintenance of buildings and campus. A board of nine trustees is elected by the LOPC Congregation. Trustees make grants to support LOPC ministries, upon requests from Session or Deacons; provide information and assistance to potential donors; receive donor gifts in various forms (estate gifts, cash, stock, property, trusts, IRAs, life insurance); manage invested assets.
