Mission Statement
Grateful Dogs Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization, TIN 94-3251570, whose mission is to rescue, foster, and rehome dogs in our community that are at risk of euthanasia.
About This Cause
Grateful Dogs Rescue is the oldest all-breed rescue group in San Francisco. Since 1990 our mission has been to save the lives of local dogs, primarily at San Francisco Animal Care and Control, that are at risk of euthanasia through no fault of their own. We save as many of these dogs as possible, place them in responsible foster homes, and provide veterinary care as needed until loving adopters can be found. We are an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff, so all donations to Grateful Dogs Rescue go towards the care of our dogs.
