About This Cause
Art in Action is a non-profit organization that provides arts education to K-8th grade students in schools and youth programs. We strive to bridge an equity gap in educational experiences. Today, we reach 85,000 students in 255 schools and after-school programs in 20 states. 50% of those we serve attend Title I schools in low-income communities. Provides Art Curriculum + Art Supplies for 2 children. $100 Provides Art Curriculum + Art Supplies for 3 children. $500. Provide Art Curriculum + Art Supplies for 17 children. $1000. Provide Art Curriculum + Art Supplies for 33 students or 1 classroom. Our diverse, culturally relevant programs positively impact students’ ability to improve mental well-being and support their success in school and beyond. Fun, hands-on art lessons help children develop social-emotional skills such as self-esteem, mental resilience and critical thinking skills. Your donation helps us provide quality art curriculum, art supplies, and classroom teacher training to schools and youth programs.
