Mission Statement
Anova is Northern California’s most trusted provider of education, behavioral, and therapy services for children and teens (5 through 22) diagnosed with autism, social and emotional challenges, learning differences, and other neuro-developmental impairments. Our services are provided in school, community, and home environments, allowing individuals to function more independently, engage in meaningful relationships with others, and lead an improved quality of life.
About This Cause
Anova is a pioneer in providing education and behavioral services for children living with autism spectrum disorders. Services are provided in our specialized K-12 ACE schools and Diagnostic & Therapy Clinic, public schools, in-home early intervention, day programs, and residential care facilities. Anova is a valuable community resource helping San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California families since 2000. The Anova Center for Education is more than a school...it is a unique synthesis of diagnostic and therapy services into academic instruction providing a holistic approach to education children with autism require to learn and grow. In addition to three K-12 campuses in Santa Rosa, San Rafael, and Concord, CA, Anova provides innovative educational and behavioral services, early intervention, and paraprofessional support throughout 15 counties across California. Anova produces measurable and life changing results for children, their families and the community. When a student receives services from Anova, they are certain to show improvement in their academic work, acquire social and communication skills previously undeveloped, enhance their self-esteem, and become better prepared for post-school experiences. Every child is different, which is why we work closely with each student to provide a highly personalized academic curriculum, while effectively treating their individual challenges. Anova is a non-profit certified by the California Department of Education/Special Education Division as a non-public agency. We are a vendor for the State Department of Social Services providing services through our partnership with the California Regional Center system.
