Mission Statement
TCC has 5 programs. Trinity Place Shelter is a 10-bed transitional shelter with social services for LGBTQ youth and young adults; the Creative Learning Center is an afterschool program for neighborhood children; Mujeres En Progreso is a Latina women's support group; the other two programs are the annual Thanksgiving dinner and an emergency food pantry.
About This Cause
Trinity Place Shelter is a ten-bed transitional shelter for LGBTQ youth and young adults age 18-24 who are currently homeless. Shelter residents receive housing, food, counseling, a place to store their belongings, laundry money, and access and referrals to other social services including medical and dental care. Shelter residents have jobs and/or are attending educational institutions, and they are continuing to strengthen their skills and knowledge so that they can live independently.
