Mission Statement
The Redwood Gospel Mission provides Homeless Services, Recovery Programs, Outreach, Jail Ministry, Certification and Training Programs through mobilizing the community to minister to the needy so that lives are transformed.
About This Cause
# New Life Recovery Programs (residential) for Men and Women - We are a faith-based program centered on Biblical values, which we believe to include the 12 steps # Homeless Services (Guest Services) providing Showers, Free Clothing, Breakfast and Dinner 365 days as year. There are separate facilities for Women's and Children emergency shelter and Men's emergency shelters. # Jail Ministry - teams go inside jails to facilitate bible and study and life skills classes # Industrial Ministries -items that are not given to those in need are then sold to support the Ministries of the Redwood Gospel Mission. # Certification and Training Programs - Forklift Certification, Retail Management, Computer Hardware Training Program, Food Services and Safety (the Black Coat program) # Outreach - Easter Dinner for the Homeless, Homeless Birthday Party, Barrio Fiesta, City Kids Festival (backpacks and school supplies), Great Thanksgiving Banquet, Christmas celebration.
