Mission Statement

Girls Incorporated of Orange County's mission: To inspire all girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold. Our Vision: Empowered girls in an equitable society

About This Cause

At Girls Inc., we believe in girls. We believe in their abilities and their rights. Girls Inc. is committed to advancing the equity and opportunities of girls and young women, to reduce the barriers they face, and to challenge the systems that impede their success. For 70 years (serving over 100,000), Girls Inc. is building the leaders of tomorrow. In 2023, over 9,000 girls, ages 5 to 18, participated in life-changing Girls Inc. programs. Girls Inc. prepares girls to advocate for themselves and others, take leadership positions in the workforce and become full contributors in our community. Programs are offered at 55 Orange County schools (53 Title One Schools), Juvenile Hall, and in collaboration with other non-profit partners. Girls experience mentorship and support of staff and volunteers and participate in programs such as science, math, technology, early literacy, financial literacy, health and wellness, leadership, advocacy, and college and career preparation.
