Mission Statement
Jewish Federation convenes, engages, and leads the Jewish OC community and its partners, leverages its resources to enhance and sustain Jewish life, assists people in need, mobilizes on issues of concern to the local Jewish community, and strengthens the bond with Israel and Jewish people globally.
About This Cause
Jewish Federation of Orange County (JFOC), a nonprofit organization, has been active in the OC community since 1965 when it was incorporated under its original name Jewish Community Council of Orange County. From the 1970s through 2010, the organization name was Jewish Federation of Orange County. In 2011, the organization became known as Jewish Federation & Family Services of Orange County (JFFS) through a merger in which the former Jewish Family Service of OC was absorbed into Federation. In 2021-22, the organization name is in process of being restored to Jewish Federation of Orange County.
