Mission Statement

The mission of the Armed Services YMCA Camp Pendleton is to enhance the lives of military members and their families in spirit, mind, and body through programs relevant to the unique challenges of military life.

About This Cause

The Armed Services YMCA at Camp Pendleton has served the military community for the past 81 years, providing services for junior enlisted (E5 and below) military members and their families that increase their quality of life, strengthen family bonds, and reduce the stresses of military life. We accomplish this by providing a myriad of dynamic programs that concentrate on educational, emotional, and financial support. All of our programs and services focus on three primary mission areas: (1) Youth Development, (2) Healthy Living and, (3) Social Responsibility. These programs include: Operation Hero, Operation Little Learners, Operation Kid Comfort, Fisher’s Children’s Center, Hospital Child Watch, Temporary Emergency Assistance Program, Project Liberty Call, Summer Day Camps and Preschool, Camp Flashhh, School of Infantry Recreation Center, and Concrete Beach. The Armed Services YMCA Camp Pendleton also holds several special events for military families throughout the year, including: Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Dances, Ball Gown Giveaway, Santa’s Workshop, and Home Hospitality.
