About This Cause
Venice Family Clinic was started in 1970 by our founders Philip Rossman, MD and Mayer B. Davidson, MD. Back then, volunteer physicians provided basic medical care in a borrowed storefront dental office after normal business hours. Today, with fourteen locations and an extensive street medicine program, the Clinic is proud to be a leading community health center in Los Angeles. The Clinic continues to expand to best meet our community’s needs with an innovative, integrated approach that addresses the unique combination of clinical and social factors that impact our patients’ health. We offer primary and specialty care, behavioral health services, dental care, vision care and more—often all in one visit.
