About This Cause
Founded in 1970, Serving Seniors continues to be the leading provider of programs and services for low-income seniors in San Diego County. The organization has evolved from a single site providing lunches to disadvantaged seniors to a robust independent organization offering an array of wraparound services at nine sites across the county. Our services for disadvantaged seniors include permanent supportive housing, nutritious meals, housing assistance for homeless seniors, health and wellness services, and lifelong learning opportunities. Serving Seniors provides more than 560,000 meals and other services to nearly 5,000 unduplicated seniors each year.
