Mission Statement
The specific purpose of the Corporation shall include without limitation, to furnish services to persons in need of medical treatment, render service to hospital patients, their families and their visitors, improve their well-being and mental attitude and enhance the quality of their care.
About This Cause
Through its many and varied patient-centered programs, Los Robles Hospital Volunteers, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, provides direct patient services in the form of providing clothing to indigent patients and to patients whose clothing is beyond repair; transportation and/or lodging for patient and/or family; patient medications, durable equipment such as wheelchairs, crutches, etc.; personal incidentals such as phone chargers, ear buds, combs, lip balm, toothbrushes, etc.; pediatric "buddies" and homework helpers along with books and instructional media; hair washing for long-term patients; end-of-life vigiling and compassionate touch massage; therapy pet visits. Los Robles Hospital Volunteers, Inc. is always developing new ways to meet the needs of patients, along with supporting the staff of the hospital with normal daily volunteer duties such as transporting patients, liaising with families of surgery patients, STAT blood runs, meal delivery, etc.
