Mission Statement
Step One’s Vision is to be a model of excellence in early childhood education, thus inspiring our larger society to an elevated commitment to its young children. The vibrant educational community of Step One provides the healthy foundation children need to reach their full potential as learners and human beings.
About This Cause
Since 1981, Step One has been a leader in Early Childhood Education in the Bay Area. Step One School nurtures children’s love of life and learning in a community rooted in respect for self and humanity. Step One School places a significant value on attracting and maintaining a student body of children with diverse backgrounds and means. Over $100,000 of this year’s Step One budget is designated to Financial Aid. Half of those funds will need to be raised, with the help of our current and alumni parent communities, grandparents and other family and community friends.
