Mission Statement

Since 1976, ICEC has been providing Early Intervention services for infants and children from birth to three years of age suffering from developmental disorders such as Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Spina Bifida, and their parents. Our mission at ICEC is to provide individualized early intervention services to help each child to reach their optimum developmental potential. While primarily focused on education, ICEC can be classified as a youth, health, and human services agency.

About This Cause

ICEC provides: • Family-centered early intervention classes and specialized services for children who may be at risk or have known developmental delays. • Individual Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapies in our Irvine clinic. • Infant stimulation, global developmental and behavior therapy sessions in clinic and in home. • A preschool program for older children for 2.5 to 4.5 year olds who are both typically developing children and those with special needs (a parent-funded program). • Ongoing parent training, respite care, educational programs, and individualized education support for families as the child ages out of our programs We are staffed by Pediatric Occupational, Physical & Speech Therapists, a Behavior Therapist, a Music Therapist, and Masters Level Special Education Teachers.
