Mission Statement Preparing the children of Watts-Willowbrook, Compton and South Los Angeles to succeed and thereby strengthen our community’s future. We achieve our mission by providing children with a safe and stable environment to obtain school readiness for success through our early childhood educational centers and supportive services to enhance their opportunity to make a positive contribution to society.
About This Cause
Programs and Services Family Resources Drew CDC provides programs and services in four primary areas: Child Welfare Division: Provides excellent quality services and develops models and prototypes for at risk children and their families. All programs are licensed by the California State Department of Social Services. Early Child Education Division: Offers services that are structured to provide culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate curricular activities for children and their families. Our programs are licensed by the California State Department of Social Services. Mental Health Division: Mental Health Division provides a range of comprehensive services for emotionally disturbed children and youth between the ages of 0 and 18. Help Paying for Child Care: High quality child care is the foundation for a great educational future. At Drew Child Development Corporation, we believe that a family’s income should not be a barrier to good child care.
