The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association of the Greater Los Angeles Area is dedicated to the advancement and education of the plumbing and HVACR industry for the health, safety, and comfort of society and the protection of the environment.
About This Cause
PHCC of the Greater Los Angeles Area (PHCC-GLAA) Training Program was created in 1968 by the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association of Los Angeles to advance the plumbing and HVACR industry for the health, safety and comfort of society and the protection of the environment. PHCC Los Angeles now serves Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. PHCC GLAA’s Journeyman Training program benefits its members, students, and community by providing expert training to the industry. Since its inception the training program has grown to become a respected and trusted source of education and knowledge in Plumbing, HVAC, Cross-Connection and related fields. Our non-profit organization is dedicated to paving the way for brighter futures through comprehensive plumbing and HVAC training programs. With a focus on both technical expertise and professional development, our training provides hands-on training, classroom instruction, and mentorship opportunities to aspiring plumbers and HVAC technicians. We believe that by investing in education and skill-building, we can equip individuals with the tools they need to build successful careers and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Through our charitable initiatives, we strive to break down barriers to entry into these trades, offering accessible training programs regardless of financial background or prior experience. Our goal is to foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment where individuals from all walks of life can excel and achieve their goals. Our goal is to train 100 low-income individuals at no cost within the next five (5) years giving them the skills needed to fill in-demand positions, ultimately driving economic prosperity and stability within our community. Doing so will contribute to addressing workforce shortages in the plumbing and HVAC industries.
