Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve Los Angeles communities with programs aimed at neighborhood needs including: education, food assistance, exercise, and empowerment. Urban Partners has been in operations for over 23 years and began after the L.A. Riots decimated areas of Los Angeles and community members decided to step up to take care of food distribution for families in need. Our Groceries for our Neighbors program provides free bags of groceries to low-income neighbors. Our Without Limits Tutoring program offers free math and reading tutoring to underprivileged school children. Since 1993, we have served over 270,000 bags of groceries and nourished over 20,000 children.
