Mission Statement
Mother Of Many, affectionately called M.O.M., is a grassroots nonprofit organization using innovative technology training, computer science and food science to help keep students engaged in high school and prepare them for college and STEM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math) careers. Our goal is to “bridge the digital technology and STEM career divide” in order to close the achievement gap in neighborhoods where historically underrepresented youth have limited access to cutting edge 21st Century technology.
About This Cause
About Mother of Many Mother of Many (M.O.M.) is a non-profit grassroots organization focused on inspiring high school students to improve their grades, stay in school and earn various digital media certifications 9th through 12th grade. In a learning environment where dropping out and failing to meet high school exit exam standards are an unfortunate reality, Mother of Many is committed to assisting young people reverse that trend by taking responsibility for their education. Even today, many middle and high school students have little or no access to technology much less any awareness of 1) how important technology skills are in today’s 21st Century job market, or 2) jobs that exist based on certified technological skills. Mother of Many students gain real world experience with our partners via internships, job shadowing, career days and access to professional mentoring – resources that money cannot buy.
