Hosanna Broadcasting Foundation - a nonprofit organization is hosting “Walk for Life”. This event will be held on October 5, 2019 at the El Dorado National Park in Long Beach, CA. We expect to have 3,000 attendance. Walk for Life is a 5K walk family friendly 5K fun walk to benefit this worthy cause. It will attract various participants from all walks of life. This event will represent various ethnic groups through arts, craft, food, and music. It is also designed to raise funds to implement our at-risk youth career training program in Long Beach and expand its existing program for orphaned girls and build a rehabilitation center to care for sex trafficked ladies in Ethiopia. Through our advertising and promotional plan, we will reach all nationalities to invite them to join this worthy cause. The issue of sex trafficking has touched vulnerable ladies in every nationality. Sex trafficking is a horrendous situation for those who are held in captivity. At present, our organization owns and operates Hosanna House – an orphanage that has raised 20 beautiful girls. These girls have been homeless and sexually abused by heartless strangers. Hosanna Foundation has been able to transform their lives since 2004. Our success story is that nine of our girls are college graduates working in various professional jobs in Ethiopia. We have four girls in college and seven in high school. Recently, we have agreed to support six additional sex trafficked young girls and one three-year-old daughter of one of the victims.
