Mission Statement
The objectives of this organization are to propagate the principles of Buddhism based on the teachings of St. Nichiren and to promote and improve the happiness and general welfare of the community--both spiritually and physically--through educational, charitable and other missionary work including community outreach programs.
About This Cause
The organization is a Buddhist temple which seeks to promote the happiness and welfare of the community. It has facilities which are used by cultural programs which enrich the cultural lives of the surrounding community. Examples include indigo shibori workshops which invite children and adults to learn the Asian Pacific cultural arts of fabric dyeing, calligraphy, and yoga classes. It also sponsors traditional summer bon dances for the community with local foods.
