Mission Statement
OUTbio Seattle’s mission is to foster a warm and vibrant community where LGBTQIA+ professionals, researchers, and allies can unite and work together to shape the future of the bioscience industry and our life sciences community in the greater Seattle area.
About This Cause
We are the Seattle branch of OUTbio, the largest LGBTQIA+ professional organization for the life sciences. OUTbio was founded in 2015 in Boston, and there are now chapters in Ireland, the UK, San Diego, San Francisco, and New York. OUTbio’s mission is to empower the LGBTQ community and its allies in biotechnology and affiliated industries.
