Mission Statement

Our mission is to anticipate and educate about the opportunities and risks that AI presents for children's development.

About This Cause

In this rapidly evolving AI era, the impact of AI on the emotional, social, and cognitive development of children is often underestimated and overlooked. While Artificial Intelligence has the potential to drive positive transformation, it is crucial to educate and empower individuals to understand AI and its implications in order to promote its responsible development and use. Our approach is rigorous and informed by the latest scientific research, led by Mathilde Cerioli, Ph.D. in Neuroscience. Last May, we published our first research report, "The Future of Child Development in the AI Era." This work is based on a multidisciplinary approach, integrating insights from AI experts such as our Board President, Gregory Renard, and child development specialists from prestigious universities, including Berkeley, Stanford, and Harvard. We focus on educating three key audiences: - Regulators and Institutions: Advising on the creation of guidelines and regulations for responsible AI that involves children (ages 0–25). - Companies: Assisting in adapting and developing AI solutions to enhance children's well-being. - Parents and Educators: Empowering them to safely guide children in the digital world. Our training programs are designed to foster the responsible and informed use of AI and technologies—including phones, social media, video games, and Generative AI—while raising awareness of potential risks, such as addiction, and emphasizing the opportunities these tools can offer. Additionally, we organize conferences that invite participants to anticipate and reflect on the ethics of AI, its desirable and undesirable uses, and its impacts on individuals and organizations.
