Mission Statement
We give girls in South Asia practical protection and create economic, educational, and empowerment opportunities for them to grow. We believe all girls have the right to direct their lives in safety.
About This Cause
We have hands-on mentors on the ground in Pakistan and India that know which communities are at risk for the exploitation of girls. We install water wells closer to girls, we install indoor bathrooms for protection. We teach girls basic health, menstrual hygiene, and safety precautions in a 90 minute class. We also empower them with small in home projects that can make money; raising goats and chickens, sewing centers for tailoring, and scholarships to those who show interest in furthering their education. We do our best to take each girl into consideration, knowing that bigger non profits with a blanket solution often fail. We carefully interview each family, and tailor to the family needs. Desperation often leads to early marriage.
