Mission Statement
Our mission is to know Christ better and to make him better known.
About This Cause
St. Raymond Church (Parish) is a place of worship and spiritual education for a congregation of approximately 10,000 people in Dublin, California. Two full time priests, a priest in residence and several staff members and volunteers serve this parish on a daily basis. Our mission is to know Christ better and to make him better known. St. Raymond Church is a thriving community of diverse cultures and languages. Located in a strategic position in the Tri-Valley area it encompasses the cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and San Ramon, the town of Danville and the CDPs of Alamo, Blackhawk and Diablo. The three valleys from which it takes its name are Amador Valley, Livermore Valley and San Ramon Valley. St. Raymond Church has an active religious education and faith formation department catering to the needs of adults, youth and children. The Parish also has an active choir of volunteers and hired musicians and singers who perform during weekend masses and on special occasions such as weddings, funeral s and other special events. St. Raymond Church has over 15 ministries that serve our local and regional communities in community participation and development, grief support during challenging times, catholic and religious education and job employment support to those who are currently seeking employment. The parish also runs a food bank through its volunteers feeding 70-80 families every month. St. Raymond Middle School empowers all students to achieve academic excellence in a Catholic environment that encourages them to meet the challenges of life and to serve the gospel of Jesus Christ.
