Our purpose at Cedar Grove Community Church is … To help people Encounter God, Grow Together, and Make a Difference
About This Cause
We want people to encounter God when they connect, attend, or interact with our church. The hope is that we can create a ‘come and see’ culture where the weary, broken, and hurting might find hope and healing through the love of God, as revealed in Jesus Christ. When they have an encounter with God, they meet him and their hearts melt. They change through the grace of God. Once people are connected to Christ, they begin to grow together spiritually as part of our body of believers. Cedar Grove is organized around groups so people can thrive. We believe that life change happens best in the context of a group. A life connected to Christ bears fruit. Bearing fruit happens internally as the Holy Spirit does His good work inside us, manifesting the fruits of the spirit. It happens externally as we share the love of Jesus with others. There is something attractive about a life connected to Christ; it draws others in. In this way, we start the process again with those who have trusted in Jesus Christ.
