About This Cause
The Commonwealth of Virginia is widely recognized as the home of more than 700,000 Veterans. They came from all walks of life and all branches of service and now they live here in Virginia. At times, our veterans are faced with difficult situations and find themselves in need of assistance. Fortunately, in Virginia there are resources available to help those experiencing such difficulties. The Virginia Veterans Services Foundation is a state agency that provides the financial support to the various programs and services that assist veterans and their families in times of need. The Foundation depends solely on contributions from community organizations, businesses and corporations, grants, and caring individuals. Every contribution to the Virginia Veterans Services Foundation provides levels of needed assistance beyond that which is available through state and/or federal funding.
