Our programming includes: Programs: - Community Health Navigation (CHN) Program: The Community Health Navigation Program is funded by the City of Austin Austin Public Health Department to provide healthcare navigation for the community’s neglected Asian subpopulations. Services include interpretation/translation support, accompaniment to appointments, referrals to outside services, and eligibility and application assistance to local, state, and federal benefit programs. - Annual Health Fair: Includes health (blood pressure, glucose levels, cholesterol, and BMI) and vision screenings, vaccinations, health education, and resource information! We provide interpretation and language services for our communities. - Research: Our research guides our work and provides support for the Austin community. Our Asian American Health Assessment provides recommendations for Austin's Asian community health, while our National Outreach Strategy provides recommendations for effective outreach for Asian communities in the U.S.
