Mission Statement
Clark Planetarium’s mission is to create and present enlightening experiences that inspire wonder in learning about space and science and to promote greater public awareness of the science in our daily lives.
About This Cause
For more than 50 years Clark Planetarium, formerly Hansen Planetarium, has been Utah's go-to destination for visitors of all ages who want to discover and learn about space and science. On average, we welcome 400,000 visitors of all demographics each year, 1-in-6 of which are from out of state. Access to the Planetarium's exhibits and digital interactives is free of charge, including special science demonstrations, hands-on activities, and public events in partnership with numerous community partners.
