Mission Statement
Lake Harriet United Methodist Church strives to welcome, inspire, and nourish our community to be the hands and feet of God in the world. We aim to be good neighbors, welcoming people of all gender identities and sexual orientations to participate in the life and ministries of our church. We celebrate diversity of all people and their families through advocacy, dialogue, prayers, and ministries.

Lake Harriet United Methodist Church is located at 4901 Chowen Avenue South in Minneapolis, MN. The church and its members actively host, sponsor, or participate in a range of ministries to the community, including: the Joyce Uptown Foodshelf, Dignity Center, Lake Harriet Preschool, Lake Harriet Players, Operation Classroom Ministries, Feed My Starving Children, Every Meal, UMCOR, and many others that are vital to the communities we serve.
