About This Cause
Broad Street United Methodist Church, founded in 1875, is centrally located in downtown Columbus, OH, in the “Discovery District,” with a mixture of large and small corporations, four college campuses, many cultural institutions, and adjacent to the historic Olde Town East neighborhood. Broad Street UMC is “The Church in the Heart of the City with the City in its Heart!” The congregation bears witness in word, faith, and action to the good news of Christ. Whether a member or someone who walks in off the street, everyone related to Broad Street UMC hears the message of God’s transforming love.
