Mission Statement
The Windsor Locks Public Schools will create and sustain a community of life-long learners where all students are engaged, empowered, and expected to achieve at the highest levels and to become responsible, contributing citizens in an ever-changing, global society. The Windsor Locks Theatre Club is an opportunity for students to apply their learning in authentic ways as they engage in pre-professional theatre training at the high school level.
About This Cause
The Windsor Locks HS Music Department's goal is to provide extended performance opportunities for all students through our Show Choir and Theatre Club. We fundraise every year in order to have the funds to provide all students with costumes in order to that the needs of all children are met equitably regardless of their ability to pay. This year, the Theatre Club had to cancel our Spring musical production due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Costumes have been purchased and sets have been built which has depleted our cash reserves to a zero balance. We are looking to perform the musical this Summer, if possible, but there is still the question of whether or not the public will feel confident coming to a live performance. Any support is greatly appreciated.
