About This Cause
By the end of the eighth grade, every Orchard Knob Middle School student will have met his/her fullest academic potential and be ready to transition to the next stage of learning by displaying a sense of responsibility and respect for self and others. Our School-Wide Positive Behavior Support System, along with our open door policy, will enhance the relationship between the community, faculty/staff, and students. The school's mission will be accomplished through: A student-centered program, a supportive, caring environment, an acceptance of personal responsibilities, respect and consideration for all, a positive attitude toward school, a clear academic challenge, a curriculum to ensure success, a continuous learning process, and a community of life-long learners. This is why OKMS has created a partnership with Amazon CHA1 that will help alleviate teachers' out of pocket costs for supplies for students throughout the school year.
